Located in the heart of Layton, Utah, just 20–25 minutes north of Salt Lake City, Utah Iris Photographer is a dedicated retail iris photography studio built around one thing: creating an incredible experience from the moment you walk through the door to the moment you receive your finished artwork.

Whether you're visiting on your own, as a couple or bringing the whole family, the studio is designed to feel relaxed, welcoming and fun while giving your irises the attention they deserve.

A Quick, Easy & Comfortable Experience

You don't need to prepare for a traditional photo session. No posing, no worrying about what to wear and no need to be comfortable in front of a camera.

I'll guide you through the process as each iris is photographed up close using specialized macro photography and lighting. The process is quick, comfortable and non-invasive, capturing details within your eyes that are nearly impossible to appreciate with the naked eye.

Once your session is complete, the real work begins. Each iris is carefully processed and professionally edited to bring out its incredible natural colors, textures and details. Your finished images and artwork are then prepared for your personal gallery and delivered for you to experience and enjoy.

I want visiting the studio to be something the whole family enjoys.

You'll find a mini fridge stocked with complimentary bottled water to enjoy during your visit, and younger guests have something especially fun waiting for them.

After having their iris photographed, kids get to visit the studio toy chest and choose a 3D-printed toy to take home!

It's a small tradition that has become one of my favorite parts of the studio experience. The kids get something exciting to look forward to, and parents get a little extra help making iris photography feel like an adventure rather than another photo appointment.

After photographing nearly 1,000 irises, I've had the opportunity to work with an incredible variety of eye colors, patterns and characteristics, continually refining both the photography and editing process along the way.

That experience has grown beyond my own studio. My knowledge, techniques, tools and resources have become sought after by fellow iris photographers around the world, giving me the opportunity to help others elevate their own iris photography and artwork.
